Ernest and Helen Flinn purchased the farm in 1919. During its early decades, the family raised various crops and livestock here in Catawissa Hollow.
In the early 1980s, Don Flinn Sr. planted the farm’s first Christmas trees. Don Flinn Jr. and his son Kyle continue that tradition today—growing Christmas trees and seasonal crops while caring for a farm that has remained in the family for five generations. Christian and Addie represent the fifth generation of the Flinn family at Catawissa Hollow Farm.
Catawissa Hollow Farm is proud to be recognized as a Missouri Century Farm.
